The youngest member of the team, Ellie, a fair and bubbly girl one year or two to her adulthood, could not help thundering at the mortal spectacle for extreme dread of death, not unmixed with regret. Because of her forefront position of the whole team, nearest to the most advanced one of the invading creatures, a gigantic claw of this repulsive thing was thrusted out in the direction of her and she had no other choice but wait for her doom as she closed her eyes while her associates, eyes wide open, mouth agape, jaw dropped down even to the floor, stood stock-still at the killing sight which was to be as bloody as a scene could be. However, humans’ worldly expectation was always proved wrong by some uncanny force like a decisive aide bestowed upon them from the God---a white flash burst into their sight from nowhere before people could merely catch the least of its sight and the next instant, as people had just restituted their normal consciousness and recomposition, it was seen that a claw of that creature was cut off by some god-like sharp weapon which no one had ever witnessed and it ricocheted from the metal wall of the commanding center and then fell to lie on the floor. The alien beast knelt down in prostration seemingly in extreme pain beyond cure as a stream of its blood spurted out from that amputated limb and what was far more incredible was before the creature managed to give a moan or groan, it bade farewell to the world for good as its spider-like head was pierced down to its jaw from above by a lance-like thing resembling a white bolt of lightning. ‘Take this chance and shoot them now!’ Another command was from the chief in the face of the situation which had semblance of fairy tale and at once, all the members did accordingly as laser beams swept the area which the remaining creatures were moving in, poising to attack their enemies. Within one minute merely, all the creatures who had already invaded into the domain of the base got all annihilated by that white shadow like a phantom from the Hades, or an angel from the Empyrean.
