Making dumplings
Dumpling probably is the most popular Chinese food that everybody loves it.
Today I'm gonna show you how to make dumplings from scratch.
The first thing you do is to buy the ingredients and premade dumpling wrappers, which can? easily find at retailers like Walmart or superstores.?
Of course, you can make wrappers by yourself, but it can be quite time-consuming.
The next step is making the filling.? For the purpose of this demonstration, I'll use pork and celery as an example.
Start by cleaning the Chinese celery and dicing it. Transfer it into a? mixing bowl, add the ground pork to the same bowl.? ?--避免重復(fù)的小技巧。
After that add seasonings?as you like,?including?soy sauce, garlic ginger puree,and so on. As you add these ingredients, use your hands to stir in a single direction for about 6 minutes, combine everything thoroughly.
The last step is wrapping dumpling. That's the funniest step.
Take a small amount of the prepared filling and place it onto a dumpling wrapper.
Fold the wrapper in half,?pinch the edges and push both sides towards the center, sealing the dumpling shut.
Don't overstuff the wrappers, in case the dumpling can't be sealed well.
And there you have it! Making dumplings is genuinely straightforward. You just keeping doing that and finish the rest. Once done, you can choose to boil or fry them, depending on your personal preference.
