One of the worst hacks I ever played. Beating this took over 15 hours and it was pure agony. Editing everything together also took multiple hours and doing it in one go sure is fun.

I wanted to describe in detail why this game is so bad. I thought about analyzing every single level, but honestly that's not worth it. Lets just say RR is completely invisible and uses those rotating platforms from kaizo, one red can crash the game and is still one of the better stages.

Just gonna talk about general issues of this hack and then pick 2 random levels to go more in detail.


One of the biggest problems is that this hack is not possible without quad. No matter how many hours you will put it, some stuff is not findable. Just to name a random example in BBH there is a boo in the black area when you jump down in the basement, but it loads too late, so you can't even kill it with a gp. Also I have no words for this 6:07:29

Many levels have invis secrets and it's not like they are just in certain marked spots, no they are COMPLETELY random. And to top it all off they are not on the floor, no they are random midair, often you can't even reach it with a normal jump.

There is even a ton of act specific stars and 95% of the times it makes absolutely no sense. In pretty much all levels reds don't count till you select the right act and the only level where it makes sense is WDW, otherwise stuff could've been cheesed with the water height changer from star 1.

The other big problem is this game has a ton of enemy spam, but no normal coins or hearts to get HP back and it's the same in every level.

In many levels there is some super fucked up parkour above the level, which alone would be horrible already, but no there has to be 1 red at the very end of it as well. That pissed me off a ton, but the BBH and LLL one made me the most mad. It's not harder than other ones, but I just couldn't get it the first time and just knowing you have to do it a second time was so frustrating.?


There is a ton more to rant about individual stars, but I just want to focus on 2 levels:

First being CCM. You have to carry up the baby penguin the entire mountain, which is annoying, but still manageable. However there is another penguin at the exit of the slide, so you first think both penguins just changed places and you carry that up just to find out it's the wrong one. I still would've been ok with that, but you have to do the entire star again for 1 single red coin. For once it would make sense to make the reds star specific, since the star grab is act specific with no indication. The star spawns way too high, so you need to use the cannon that is only there on act 6 and if you miss that cannon shot you are dead.

All levels in this game have a low coin count, but CCM has exactly 100 coins, so you have to do everything again and there is one single coin in the slide. Not like on the way down, no you have to do the entire star that is stolen from kaizo mario 64 for that one coin. In total I had to carry up that penguin 7 times.


The other stage is SSL, since that is the one that got me the most mad. The outside of the pyramid is fine, well fine for this games standards. It still has enemy spam and the worst invis secrets and for 100s you have to do all the reds and the pyramid top entry star for blue coins again. However the inside of the pyramid is the really really fucked up thing about this level. Climbing the construction is awful, but after a bit I got up with 1 hp remaining and barely grabbing the star just to find out it's a fake star. Yes this game also has fake stars as not only obstacles, no also as trolls. That star that I thought I clutched out turns out to be only the beginning of s3, since the ending is sooo much more fucked up than the climb already is. Landing on the switch while there being fire in the middle, while also the camera just not cooperating up there is nearly impossible. And that isn't even the biggest problem of the ending. The main problem is the 4000 homing amps up there. If you get hit anywhere in midair the attempt is dead. The amount of luck needed to even attempt to land on the switch is absurd.

I was really happy once I finally had it, just to be completely shattered a few seconds later. The next star is that bs with daredevil. Obviously doing that garbage with 1-hp isn't possible, so you can get hp back with some red coins, which just makes the spawn longer.? However I got so absurdly unlucky this time. I choked uncountable times to the very end and that broke me. I decided to give up. I did LLL the next day, which is likely the next worse level, mainly because of that super fucked up climb with a bunch of luck checks that you have to do twice. I didn't want to do the rest of the game knowing I still have to do SSL, so I came back right away. Since I am running out of space for this desc, I will make it short. You have to do the ending again for reds. Yes after getting 8/8 you have to do that enormous luck test...
