Do You Know How to Do a Self COVID Test (Rapid Antigen)?

Use a self testing kit, you can get the result in 15-20 minutes, but keep this in mind: the results are just for reference, and self testing kits can not 100% replace testing in hospitals/medical institutions.

1. Before testing, clean your hands.

2. Open the cotton swab

3. Insert the head of the swab about 2 centimeters into 1 nostril,

4. Rub the cotton swab around inside of your nostril about 5 times in a circular motion.

4. 將棉簽在鼻孔內(nèi)部以圓周運(yùn)動的方式擦拭約5次。

5. Sample collection should take about 15 seconds. Afterwards, repeat the procedures in the other nostril

6. After collecting your sample, take the single-use small plastic container, and place the head of the cotton swab inside.

7. Lightly shake the container for about 10 times. Then open the lid.

8. Squeeze out about 2 or 3 drops onto the testing strip, and wait for the result.

9. After about 15 to 20 minutes, your result will be ready. Do not wait for more than 30 minutes!

How to read the results in the right way?

如何正確地閱讀結(jié)果？

If the C and T areas both turn red, that’s a positive result. Go to a hospital ASAP to undergo further testing (No need to panic! As we introduced before, this self-testing kit can be only used as a reference). And make sure to take all the testing materials and put them in the disposal bag and take them to hospital with you, so medical staff would dispose them properly.

如果C區(qū)和T區(qū)都變成紅色，這是一個陽性的結(jié)果。盡快去醫(yī)院進(jìn)行進(jìn)一步的檢測(不必驚慌！正如我們之前介紹的，這個自我檢測工具只能作為參考)。并確保把所有的檢測材料放進(jìn)廢物處理袋，然后一起帶到醫(yī)院，這樣醫(yī)務(wù)人員就會妥善處理它們。

If only the C has a red stripe, that’s a negative result.

如果只有C有一條紅色的條紋，那就是一個陰性的結(jié)果。

If C has no red stripe, or if only the T is red but not the C, that means the result is invalid and you need to re-do the test.

如果C沒有紅色條紋，或者只有T是紅色而不是C，這意味著結(jié)果是無效的，您需要重做測試。
