There may be many factors but I remember a few years ago an Indian couple in Thailand were caught stealing.
It's an isolated incident but it will leave a bad impression on people.

Plus Indians lack discipline and etiquette which other countries are big on. We are not bad people just not been taught here.
Also as a student in uk I saw many indian students misusing the laws there.

Many factors play a role, but this factor is always overstated. By that logic China should have far worse visa than India (only recently India surpassed China in population)

@CREEPY their passport is strong not the visa both are different. Only 82 countries provide visa free access to chinese. India is just one country behind china. So both are on the same level

@Pi A China has achieved more development than india so chinese are feeling less inclined to leave their country - simple as that.

As an Indian I think this is mainly because Indians are rude. It just doesnt fix itself unless 2 or 3 generations pass by. And it all depends on how we behave in front of others.
