Mal-PEG-COOH是一種含活性馬來酰亞胺基和羧基的雜化雙功能聚乙二醇交聯(lián)劑。馬來酰亞胺在pH 6.5～7.5范圍內(nèi)易與硫醇基反應，形成穩(wěn)定的硫醚鍵，常常被用于和蛋白上的巰基偶聯(lián)以實現(xiàn)對蛋白的位點選擇性修飾。羧基與氨基生成穩(wěn)定的酰胺鍵，也可以和羥基發(fā)生酯化反應。PEG交聯(lián)馬來酰亞胺具有良好的水溶性，使用方便。

Mal-PEG-COOH is a hybrid bifunctional polyethylene glycol crosslinker containing active maleimide group and carboxyl group. Maleimide is easy to react with thiol group in the range of pH 6.5~7.5 to form stable thioether bond. It is often used to couple with thiol group on protein to realize site-selective modification of protein. Carboxyl groups and amino groups form stable amide bonds, and can also undergo esterification reaction with hydroxyl groups. PEG crosslinked maleimide has good water solubility and is convenient to use.
