MATRIX neverwin part6
?
Oracle: I know you’re Neo. Be right with you.
?
Neo: You’re the Oracle?
?
Oracle: Bingo. Not quite what you were expecting, right? Almost done. Smell good, don’t they?
?
//(oracle這里隱藏的意思是在指neo快變成the one了)
?
Neo: Yeah.
?
Oracle: I’d ask you to sit down, but your not going to anyway. And don’t worry about the vase.
?
//(此時,oracle完全能預言neo的行為,具體到坐或者站著,她都知道,聯(lián)系第二集里,他們再次見面時的場景,你就明白第一和第二集里,neo的不同了)
?
Neo: What vase?
?
Oracle: That vase.
?
Neo: I’m sorry.
?
Oracle: I said don’t worry about it. I’ll get one of my students to fix it.
?
//(她說到她的學生,就是屋子外面那些特異功能的孩子,oracle為什么要培養(yǎng)孩子當學生,當她的接班人?因為她知道,自己和之前的那個法國人程序一樣,也許有一天會被系統(tǒng)認為過時,無用,刪除,但她已經(jīng)看到了人類和機器的未來,所以她希望有人能夠幫助接著來實現(xiàn)這個未來)
?
Neo: How did you know?
?
Oracle: What’s really going to bake your noodle later on is, would you still have broken it if I hadn’t said anything. You’re cuter than I expected. No wonder she likes you.
?
Neo: Who?
?
Oracle: Not too bright, though. You know why Morpheus brought you to see me?
?
//(仔細看她說的,“你比我想象的還可愛,難怪她喜歡你.“,聯(lián)系她之前已經(jīng)對崔妮蒂做出了預言,你就明白,崔妮蒂愛上的人就會變成the one,因為oracle是不能預測未來的,到這個時候,她并沒有確定機器和人的關系在neo這代的the one將巨變,她依然在等待,這里也說明崔妮蒂愛上的人就是the one是oracle設計的rule)
?
Neo: I think so.
?
Oracle: So, what do you think? You think you’re the one?
?
Neo: I don’t know.
?
Oracle: You know what that means? It’s Latin. Means `Know thyself’. I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Being the one is just like being in love. No one can tell you your in love, you just know it. Through and through. Balls to bones. Well, I better have a look at you. Open your mouth, say Ahhh.
?
//(“我要告訴你一些小秘密,成為the one就象落入愛河,沒人能告訴你現(xiàn)在你在愛中,你就是知道.經(jīng)歷過很多事情,滄海桑田.“,這話也是在暗示上面的那個意思)
?
Neo: Ahhh.
?
Oracle: Okay. Now I’m supposed to say, `Umm, that’s interesting, but...’ then you say...
?
Neo: But what?
?
Oracle: But you already know what I’m going to tell you.
?
Neo: I’m not the one.
?
Oracle: Sorry kiddo. You got the gift, but it looks like you’re waiting for something.
?
Neo: What?
?
Oracle: Your next life maybe, who knows? That’s the way these things go. What’s funny?
?
//(your next life maybe,oracle已經(jīng)說的很明白了,變成the one得死一次,重生)
?
Neo: Morpheus. He...he almost had me convinced.
?
Oracle: I know. Poor Morpheus. Without him we’re lost.
?
Neo: What do you mean, without him?
?
Oracle: Are you sure you want to hear this? Morpheus believes in you, Neo. And no one, not you, not even me can convince him otherwise. He believes it so blindly that he’s going to sacrifice his life to save yours.
?
Neo: What?
?
Oracle: You’re going to have to make a choice. In the one hand you’ll have Morpheus’ life and in the other hand you’ll have your own. One of you is going to die. Which one will be up to you. I’m sorry, kiddo, I really am. You have a good soul, and I hate giving good people bad news. Oh, don’t worry about it. As soon as you step outside that door, you’ll start feeling better. You’ll remember you don’t believe in any of this fate crap. You’re in control of your own life, remember? Here, take a cookie. I promise, by the time you’re done eating it, you’ll feel right as rain.
?
//(“你得記得你不相信這些狗屁宿命.你在控制你自己的生活,記住了嗎?“,oracle在看過neo后,發(fā)現(xiàn)他將是一個很不同的the one,所以她可以指引他突破the one的宿命設計,那個系統(tǒng)(就是oracle當年)設計的循環(huán),選擇左邊的門,oracle此時已經(jīng)看到了人類和機器的新的未來.)
?
?
Agent Smith: Have you ever stood and stared at it, marveled at it’s beauty, it’s genius? Billions of people just living out their lives, oblivious. Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world. Where none suffered. Where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed that we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that as a species, human beings define their reality through misery and suffering. The perfect world would dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this, the peak of your civilization. I say your civilization because as soon as we started thinking for you it really became our civilization which is of course what this is all about. Evolution, Morpheus, evolution, like the dinosaur. Look out that window. You had your time. The future is our world, Morpheus. The future is our time.
?
//(這里smith說到的第一代matrix,和設計師說的一樣,完美世界.他這里也提到了其實在機器世界里,對于如何管理人類有著不同的看法,分成不同的派系,象oracle,象法國人,象他,看法都完全不一樣.很有趣的是,他說“進化,墨菲斯,進化,就像恐龍一樣.“大家都知道,恐龍就算進化,最后也是完蛋了,所以他認為的matrix進化的過程最終會導致matrix自己崩潰毀滅,這也是他在干的事情.)
?
Agent Brown: There could be a problem.
?
Agent Smith: Never send a human to do a machine’s job.
?
Agent Brown: If indeed the insider has failed, they’ll sever the connection as soon as possible, unless...
?
Agent Jones: They’re dead, in either case...
?
Agent Smith: We have no choice but to continue as planned. Deploy the sentinels immediately.
?
Agent Smith: I’d like to share a revelation during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you’re not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You are a plague, and we are the cure.
?
//(這里smith關于人類的論斷,我非常非常喜歡,太精辟了,他說人類根本不算哺乳動物,因為地球上的其他哺乳動物都和自然界保持一種和諧,可是人類每到一處,就瘋狂破壞環(huán)境,榨取資源,根本就是一病毒.smith說人是地球的癌癥,機器是治這個病的藥.太對了~!!!!!)
?
Agent Smith: Why isn’t this serum working?
?
Agent Brown: Perhaps we’re asking the wrong questions.
?
Agent Smith: Leave me with him. Now.
?
Agent Smith: Can you hear me, Morpheus? I’m going to be honest with you. I hate this place, this zoo, this prison, this reality, whatever you want to call it. I can’t stand it any longer. It’s the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink. And every time I do I feel I have somehow been infected by it. It’s repulsive, isn’t it? I must get out of here. I must get free and in this mind is the key, my key. Once Zion is destroyed there is no need for me to be here, don’t you understand? I need the codes. I have to get inside Zion , and you have to tell me how. You’re going to tell me or you’re going to die.
?
//(smith和墨菲斯單獨相處時,他說了他為什么要去zion,因為他已經(jīng)被人類影響,有freewill,要離開matrix,不受機器控制,但是他知道m(xù)atrix重啟的時候,他就沒用了,要被系統(tǒng)刪除,所以他要跑到zion的電腦去,why?因為他是程序,他要活在zion的電腦里,他只是在找一個棲息之地)
?
?
The Oracle: Well, come on. I ain’t gonna bite ya. Come around here, and let me have a look at ya. My goodness, look at you! You turned out all right, didn’t you? How do you feel?
?
//(oracle說我不咬你,應該和第一集neo吃的cookie有關,她應該說的是,你變cookie(the one)了)
?
Neo: I, uh...
?
The Oracle: I know you’re not sleeping. We’ll get to that. Why don’t you come and have a sit this time?
?
Neo: Maybe I’ll stand.
?
The Oracle: Well, suit yourself.
?
Neo: I felt like sitting.
?
//(這里oracle開始說讓neo坐,neo說要站著,然后oracle說隨便你吧,就站著好了,可是neo還是坐下了,這整個過程和第一集比較,是neo在測試一些事情,他真的已經(jīng)象oracle在第一集里對話結尾說的那樣,自己控制他自己的生活了.這樣他才能做很多決定,而不是人家讓他做什么就做什么.他坐下的表情,大家可以揣摩一下,就是一副想明白一些事情的神態(tài))
?
The Oracle: I know. So. Let’s get the obvious stuff out of the way.
?
Neo: You’re not human, are you?
?
The Oracle: Well it’s tough to get any more obvious than that.
?
Neo: If I had to guess, I’d say you’re a program from the machine world. So is he.
?
The Oracle: So far, so good.
?
Neo: But if that’s true, that can mean you are a part of this system, another kind of control.
?
The Oracle: Keep going.
?
Neo: I suppose the most obvious question is, how can I trust you?
?
The Oracle: Bingo! It is a pickle, no doubt about it. The bad news is there’s no way if you can really know whether I’m here to help you or not. So it’s really up to you. You just have to make up your own damn mind to either accept what I’m going to tell you, or reject it. Candy?
?
Neo: D’you already know if I’m going to take it?
?
The Oracle: Wouldn’t be much of an Oracle if I didn’t.
?
Neo: But if you already know, how can I make a choice?
?
The Oracle: Because you didn’t come here to make the choice, you’ve already made it. You’re here to try to understand why you made it. I thought you’d have figured that out by now.
?
Neo: Why are you here?
?
The Oracle: Same reason. I love candy.
?
//(關于oracle吃的糖果,我覺得相當有趣,她拿了紅色的糖果出來,給了neo一顆,自己先吃了.而且她給neo的是糖果,餅干,法國人給neo的是一堆打手,這就是他們對待matrix設計的不同的看法,胡蘿卜和大棒)
?
Neo: But why help us?
?
The Oracle: We’re all here to do what we’re all here to do. I’m interested in one thing, Neo, the future. And believe me, I know - the only way to get there is together.
?
//(這里oracle很明白地說了,她幫助人類是在幫助實現(xiàn)機器和人類的未來,講到了雙方要合作.)
?
Neo: Are there other programs like you?
?
The Oracle: Oh, well, not like me. But... Look, see those birds? At some point a program was written to govern them. A program was written to watch over the trees, and the wind, the sunrise, and sunset. There are programs running all over the place. The ones doing their job, doing what they were meant to do, are invisible. You’d never even know they were here. But the other ones, well, we hear about them all the time.
?
Neo: I’ve never heard of them.
?
The Oracle: Of course you have. Every time you’ve heard someone say they saw a ghost, or an angel. Every story you’ve ever heard about vampires, werewolves, or aliens is the system assimilating some program that’s doing something they’re not supposed to be doing.
?
Neo: Programs hacking programs. Why?
?
The Oracle: They have their reasons, but usually a program chooses exile when it faces deletion.
?
//(程序要被刪除前會選擇逃亡,這就是我們會在matrix里看到smith和法國人的原因)
?
Neo: And why would a program be deleted?
?
The Oracle: Maybe it breaks down. Maybe a better program is created to replace it - happens all the time, and when it does, a program can either choose to hide here, or return to The Source.
?
//(第一個break down說的是smith,第二個“更好的程序設計出來取代他“,說的就是法國人了.)
?
Neo: The machine mainframe?
?
The Oracle: Yes. Where you must go. Where the path of The One ends. You’ve seen it, in your dreams, haven’t you? The door made of light?
?
Neo: [nods]
?
The Oracle: What happens when you go through the door?
?
Neo: I see Trinity, and something happens, something bad. She starts to fall, and then I wake up.
?
The Oracle: Do you see her die?
?
Neo: No.
?
The Oracle: You have the sight now, Neo. You are looking at the world without time.
?
//(oracle說的意思是,本來這個世界(matrix)就沒有世界概念,當neo能夠知道系統(tǒng)的安排(預見未來的能力),他就有改變世界的能力了)
?
Neo: Then why can’t I see what happens to her?
?
The Oracle: We can never see past the choices we don’t understand.
?
Neo: Are you saying I have to choose whether Trinity lives or dies?
?
The Oracle: No. You’ve already made the choice, now you have to understand it.
?
Neo: No, I can’t do that. I won’t.
?
The Oracle: You have to.
?
Neo: Why?
?
The Oracle: Because you’re The One.
?
//(是the one就得面對崔妮蒂的死,這是neo的宿命,系統(tǒng)的安排)
?
Neo: What if I can’t? What happens if I fail?
?
The Oracle: Then Zion will fall. Our time is up. Listen to me, Neo. You can save Zion if you reach The Source, but to do that you will need the Keymaker.
?
//(聯(lián)系后來發(fā)生的事情,我們知道,neo到了source如果選擇右邊的門,zion就被毀滅了,oracle這么說,說明她此時已知道neo的選擇,他將打破那個循環(huán),開始一場“革命“)
?
Neo: The Keymaker?
?
The Oracle: Yes, he disappeared some time ago. We did not know what happened to him until now. He’s being held prisoner by a very dangerous program, one of the oldest of us. He is called the Merovingian, and he will not let him go willingly.
?
Neo: What does he want?
?
The Oracle: What do all men with power want? More power.
?
The Oracle: Be there, at that exact time, and you will have a chance.
?
Seraph: We must go.
?
The Oracle: Seems like every time we meet I’ve got nothing but bad news. I’m sorry about that, I surely am. But for what it’s worth, you’ve made a believer out of me. Good luck, kiddo.
?
//(oracle在這次對話的結尾已經(jīng)在告訴neo,在他去source之前的事情都是系統(tǒng)安排的,可是他到了the source以后,他將有改變未來的機會和能力,不要總是相信系統(tǒng)的安排(choice),要相信自己的能力.)
?

?
?
//(我的英文也是半調子,試著按原話翻譯了,看起來有點怪,大家將就點吧.)
?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
?
architect: hello, neo.
?
?
neo: who are you?
?
neo:你是誰?
?
architect: i am the architect. i created the matrix. i’ve been waiting for you. you have many questions, and though the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably human. ergo some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also the most irrelevant.
?
?
//(設計師說“you may or may not...“,這也是程序的特性,它們總是去考慮所有的可能性.)
?
neo: why am i here?
?
?
Architect: Your life is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of the matrix. You are the eventuality of an anomaly which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden assiduously avoided it is not unexpected and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you inexcerably here.
?
?
Neo: You haven’t answered my question.
?
Neo:
?
Architect: Quite right. Interesting, that was quicker then the others.
?
?
Neo: Others?
?
Neo:
?
Architect: The Matrix is older then you know. I prefer counting from the emergence of one integral anomaly to the emergence of the next. In which case this is the sixth version.
?
?
//(這里的異常(one integral anomaly)就是指matrix的錯誤)
?
Neo: Then there are only two possible explanations, either no one told me, or no one knows.
?
?
Architect: Precisely, as you are undoubtedly gathering, the anomaly is systemic-creating fluctuations in even the most simplistic equations.
?
?
Neo: Choice, the problem is choice.
?
Neo:
?
Architect: The first Matrix I designed was quite naturally perfect, it was a work of art - flawless, sublime. A triumph equalled only by its monumental failure. The inevitability of its doom is apparent to me now as a consequence of the imperfection inherent in every human being. Thus, I redesigned it based on your history to more accurately reflect the varying grotesqueries of your nature. However, I was again frustrated by failure. I have since come to understand that the answer eluded me because it required a lesser mind, or perhaps a mind less bound by the parameters of perfection. Thus the answer was stumbled upon by another - an intuitive program, initially created to investigate certain aspects of the human psyche. If I am the father of the matrix, she would undoubtedly be its mother.
?
?
Neo: The Oracle.
?
Neo:先知(Oracle).
?
Architect: Please. As I was saying, she stumbled upon a solution whereby nearly 99% of all test subjects accepted the program, as long as they were given a choice, even if they were only aware of the choice at a near unconscious level. While this answer functioned, it was obviously fundamentally flawed, thus creating the otherwise contradictory systemic anomaly, that if left unchecked might threaten the system itself. Ergo those that refused the program, while a minority, if unchecked, would constitute an escalating probablility of disaster.
?
Architect:Please(這個詞這里的意思是:這么簡單的事還要你說).
?
Neo: This is about Zion.
?
Zion.
?
Architect: You are here because Zion is about to be destroyed - its every living inhabitant terminated, its entire existence eradicated.
?
?
Neo: Bullshit.
?
Neo:GP.
?
Architect: Denial is the most predictable of all human responses, but rest assured, this will be the sixth time we have destroyed it, and we have become exceedingly efficient at it.
?
?
Architect: The function of the One is now to return to the Source, allowing a temporary dissemination of the code you carry, reinserting the prime program. After which, you will be required to select from the Matrix 23 individuals - 16 female, 7 male - to rebuild Zion. Failure to comply with this process will result in a cataclysmic system crash, killing everyone connected to the Matrix, which, coupled with the extermination of Zion, will ultimately result in the extinction of the entire human race.
?
?
Neo: You won’t let it happen. You can’t. You need human beings to survive.
?
?
Architect: There are levels of survival we are prepared to accept. However, the relevant issue is whether or not you are ready to accept the responsibility of the death of every human being on this world. It is interesting reading your reactions. Your 5 predecessors were, by design, based on a similar predication - a contingent affirmation that was meant to create a profound attachment to the rest of your species, facilitating the function of the One. While the others experienced this in a very general way, your experience is far more specific - vis a vis love.
?
?
//(設計師表達的意思是說,neo在愛情方面經(jīng)歷的事情比較特別,其他版本的the one在這個方面經(jīng)歷比較普通,而不是說其他的the one就沒有經(jīng)歷過愛情.)
?
Neo: Trinity.
?
Neo:
?
Architect: Apropos, she entered the Matrix to save your life, at the cost of her own.
?
?
Neo: No.
?
Neo:不.
?
Architect: Which brings us at last to the moment of truth, wherein the fundamental flaw is ultimately expressed, and the anomaly revealed as both beginning and end. There are two doors. The door to your right leads to the Source, and the salvation of Zion. The door to your left leads back to the Matrix, to her and to the end of your species. As you adequately put, the problem is choice. But we already know what you are going to do, don’t we? Already, I can see the chain reaction - the chemical precursors that signal the onset of an emotion, designed specifically to overwhelm logic and reason - an emotion that is already blinding you from the simple and obvious truth. She is going to die, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
?
?
//(這里看設計師的話,感覺他應該知道neo怎么選擇了)
?
//(設計師說trinity要死了,可是他不可能不知道neo有在matrix里救她的能力,所以她在第三集中不管怎么樣都得死.)
?
Architect: Hope. It is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength and your greatest weakness.
?
?
Neo: If I were you, I would hope that we don’t meet again.
?
Neo:
?
Architect: We won’t.
?
?
======================================
?
//(關于他們對話里,背景小電視出現(xiàn)的那些neo,我認為應該是程序推測的neo的可能反應,因為程序就是在估計所有可能性的,所以里面有幾個鏡頭neo回答象是從屏幕里選出來的,就是這個意思)
