11月13日，外交部發(fā)言人耿爽主持例行記者會。有記者就歐盟在中國香港近日局勢上的表態(tài)提問。

耿爽表示，對于近日香港暴力違法分子的破壞行動和他們的罪惡行徑，國務院港澳辦、香港中聯(lián)辦和特區(qū)的行政長官都已經做出了回應。

• The Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong SAR, and the Chief Executive of the SAR have already responded to the latest disruptive activities and criminal acts of violent offenders in Hong Kong.?
  

接連不斷的大規(guī)模暴力違法行徑已經將香港推到了極為危險的境地，林鄭月娥行政長官也表示，暴徒的行為已經遠遠超出了所謂訴求，而是與民為敵。

• The incessant large-scale violent offenses have pushed Hong Kong to a?precarious?position. As Chief Executive Carrie Lam stated, the rioters' behaviors have gone far beyond their so-called appeals. They are becoming enemy of the people.

耿爽說，這里我要再次強調，香港的當務之急是止暴制亂、恢復秩序。中國中央政府堅決支持特區(qū)政府、警隊和司法機構采取有力措施嚴懲違法犯罪行為，保護香港居民的生命財產安全，恢復香港的安寧與穩(wěn)定。

• I want to stress that ending violence and restoring order is the?paramount?task in Hong Kong at this point. The central government firmly supports the SAR government, police and judicial organ in taking strong measures to bring criminal offenders to justice, protect Hong Kong residents' life and property, and restore tranquility and stability to the SAR.

同時我要再次重申，香港事務純屬中國內政，任何外國政府、組織和個人都無權干預，我們敦促有關方面切實遵守國際法和國際關系基本準則，立即停止發(fā)表不負責任的言論，停止以任何形式插手香港事務、干涉中國內政。

• I would also like to reiterate that Hong Kong affairs are purely China's internal affairs where no foreign government, organization or individual shall interfere. We urge relevant sides to earnestly abide by international law and basic norms governing international relations, stop making irresponsible remarks immediately, and stop meddling in Hong Kong affairs which are China's domestic affairs in any form.
