第一階段：

Stage 1 is where little to nothing is wrong. Nobody knows what's coming. Memories are intact, with very little distortion. Everything seems happy. But afterwards, things go downhill fast.

第一階段基本沒有差錯(cuò)。沒人知道接下來會(huì)發(fā)生什么。記憶完好無損，幾乎沒有失真。一切看來都很幸福。但后來，情況急轉(zhuǎn)直下。

第二階段：

Stage 2 is where the person with dementia becomes aware they have it, and attempt to fight it off by remembering harder. However, it only brings them closer to the next stages.

在這里，患者意識(shí)到自己患有癡呆癥，并試圖通過更努力地記憶來克服。然而，這只會(huì)讓他們更接近下一個(gè)階段。

第三階段：

Stage 3 is when memories begin to become very distorted while still maintaining structure. Things are missing, warped, and even shattered. There's no going back. You're doomed.

第四階段：

Stage 4 is when the patient begins to enter the post-awareness stages. They lose awareness of their surroundings and all memories begin to tangle together in a horrific process that lasts until the very end.

在這里，患者開始進(jìn)入意識(shí)后階段。他們失去了對周圍環(huán)境的意識(shí)，所有的記憶開始在一個(gè)可怕的過程中糾纏在一起，一直持續(xù)到最后。

第五階段：

Post-Awareness Stage 5 is when the patient fully looses awareness of their surroundings and memory entanglement with additional repetition and rupture lead to horrific disfigurements of memories they once held so dear.

患者完全失去對周圍環(huán)境的意識(shí)，記憶的糾纏、反復(fù)和斷裂會(huì)導(dǎo)致他們曾經(jīng)珍視的記憶怖然俱滅。

第六階段：

Post-Awareness Stage 6 is when memory entanglements become a lot more extreme, making individual memories a lot more difficult to pick out. However, sometimes, the fog clears and there are clear moment. But they're quickly re-swept over with chaos.

記憶的糾纏變得更加極端，記憶更加難以分辨。然而有時(shí)，霧會(huì)散去，變得晴朗。但他們很快又被一片混亂所席卷。

第七階段：

Post-Awareness Stage 7 is when the patient is so far-gone they loose the ability to communicate, and need full attention from a caregiver. It's almost over.
