01 學(xué)校介紹

學(xué)校成立于1845年，是英國久負(fù)盛名和最古老的蘇格蘭地區(qū)的藝術(shù)桂冠，藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)名列世界十強(qiáng)名校，也是現(xiàn)存為數(shù)不多的獨(dú)立藝術(shù)院校之一，享譽(yù)歐洲。學(xué)院位于英國蘇格蘭第一大城市格拉斯哥市，學(xué)院下屬4個(gè)學(xué)院，分別為設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院、美術(shù)學(xué)院、麥金托什建筑學(xué)院及創(chuàng)新學(xué)院。

學(xué)院成立初期名為格拉斯哥政府設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院，于1853年更名為格拉斯哥藝術(shù)學(xué)院，是全英國學(xué)生退學(xué)率最低的學(xué)院之一，坐落在格拉斯哥市中心。自成立以來，學(xué)院培養(yǎng)出了蘇格蘭大部分的當(dāng)代頂尖藝術(shù)家，其中包括特納獎(jiǎng)的獲得者。

格拉斯哥藝術(shù)學(xué)院的創(chuàng)新學(xué)院Innovation School致力于培養(yǎng)具備卓越的研究分析與思考洞察能力的畢業(yè)生，GSA作為英國最古老且是最早開辦服務(wù)設(shè)計(jì)專業(yè)的設(shè)計(jì)院校，其教學(xué)與教研質(zhì)量都相當(dāng)優(yōu)秀，創(chuàng)新學(xué)院所開設(shè)的服務(wù)設(shè)計(jì)專業(yè)排名英國第1名，而其他專業(yè)如交互設(shè)計(jì)、社會(huì)創(chuàng)新設(shè)計(jì)、協(xié)同設(shè)計(jì)等均為服務(wù)體驗(yàn)類課程設(shè)置。眾多學(xué)生畢業(yè)在科技、金融、政府與公共等領(lǐng)域從事研究和分析工作。

在最具權(quán)威性的2019, 2020年QS世界大學(xué)排名中，藝術(shù)與設(shè)計(jì)（Art & Design）世界第8名，歐洲第5名，英國第3名，被列為英國頂級(jí)專業(yè)視覺藝術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)，僅次于皇家藝術(shù)學(xué)院和倫敦藝術(shù)大學(xué)是一所名副其實(shí)的世界頂級(jí)藝術(shù)類院校。在這里誕生了許多世界著名的藝術(shù)家、設(shè)計(jì)師和建筑師。畢業(yè)生頒發(fā)格拉斯哥大學(xué)學(xué)位。

Design Innovation & Service Design

At The Innovation School, Service Design is taught as a means of applying design processes to complex problems, combining artefacts?and interactions to produce services that exist, unfold and evolve in both space and time. The MDes in Design Innovation & Service Design focuses on the social value of service design, as well as its economic importance. It is about addressing real problems that affect real people, by understanding them from each stakeholder’s point of view.

Design Innovation & Interaction Design

The way people today experience their environment and interact with others is often mediated through new technologies. The discipline of Interaction Design has emerged to ensure the delivery of these technologies enhances all aspects of modern society. Interaction Design at The Glasgow School of Art focuses on people, rather than technology. This Masters programme looks to tackle real-life problems by improving interaction and communication between stakeholders using a variety of methods.

Design Innovation & Transformation Design

Transformation Design focuses on change-oriented approaches to design, which engage with complex social or systemic issues. This programme looks at ways to understand complexity and work with stakeholders using participatory processes that trigger transformation. Research and teaching feeds into projects that combine strategic thinking with hands-on exploration to shape future concepts in areas such as health-care, education, housing and politics.
